  1. Its a nice pass at an amazon warrior/female ogre - and not bad for a first attempt. I'd date her.
I loved the wine cork Romans for your son and shard a few posts ago, and I would love to see more of your sculpting efforts. To attempt a first sculpt at 28mm is very ambitious. I warmed up with a number of 54mm sculpts before attempting 28mm.

    Thank you for posting this.

  2. Yep, I agree that's a good attempt, I'm yet to try to sculp a figure myself. However, I have to say, she's having a bad hair day!
More seriously, how did you do the hair and what did you use for sculpting?

  3. It's a good attempt but it reminds me of Ray.

  4. Thanks :-D
I used green stuff for the sculpting and the hair is the thread that plummers use to seal threaded joints

  7. I love the animation in the figure, and rather than ugly I would have said menacing....
I am sure this character has been through my Casualty dept recently....?!!!

  9. I'll chime on it being a great first attempt. Seriously, you should stick at it. We know the talent you have, and maybe practice would get you into the stratosphere.

  10. Oh, I don't know, I think it looks great as an Orcy type. They're 'sposed to be ugly, right?!

  11. A good first attempt Paul. Remember practice makes possible, and perfect is impossible. Even the best sculptors fail, but their failures never see the light of day.
