    1. Thanks Michael. The Point of the brush is the deciding factor, if that´s sharp then the brush doesn´t have to be thin...okay, a thin brush can have a sharp Point but then i find it has less accuracy.

  8. You state, "Johan de Wake. Baron Wake of Liddell. Or two bars gules in chief three torteaux." Yet, your photo represents "Or three bars gules" instead of two. I have found this error on other sites, but understand factual is "two bars gules". No shield with the figure, but another night you show whose arms are argent two bars gules in chief three torteaux is painted correctly. Can you clarify. Thanks!

    1. Well spotted.
There is some "uncertainty" between the French and the english versions. When I copy the arms I look all over the place and ended up with both the 2 and the 3 bars versions and during painting I used the less accepted Version, ie, the 3 bars from the French Sources, ie;.

French Version for the painting and the english description from the falkirk roll. A bit confusing but adding the more accepted english description was an attempt at correction..having my cake and Eating it?
Honestly, I would, if I were to paint them again I would use the one shown on the Falrkirk roll,ie; two bars.
      Sorry for any confusion
      Happy X-mas

    2. Thinking About it..it would be possible to correct by removing / painting over the Bottom red bar but..I would then have to Change the pics...too much work at the Moment :-)
