I made an Observation balloon a Long Long ...Thanks. I made an Observation balloon a Long Long time back...a papier mache Version stuck onto a metal rod taken from a coat hanger. I seem to remember something in either an Airfix or Military modelling about creating one but I can´t say for sure. TBH, the idea just came into my head...maybe after seeing one in the Background of a ACW painting or the like but not really consciously noticing.
