Old Knight

A Valdemar bod...metal...not my favourite material to paint for some reason but I learnt a little trick with this one. The metal areas I didn´t paint..just rubbed them up (ooer madam) with the tip of a toothpick :-)

Looks ok though eh?? First I based the whole bod in black acrylic...then I got bored and decided to rub it off...and....it looks like real metal!! ..well it is, so I suppose it would do :-)

  7. Nice job, even though the shield is a print it still blends into the painting style.

    Impressive stuff.

  14. Thanks :-D
@Furt....next year I intend to start a 28mm medieval army...no real idea what type...just a generic thing adding what I want to it. I like history but when it comes to bods that goes out of the window...the fun of painting is what I´m after. I will also...if time allows do some future shock/steam punk 28mm...there´s some great looking stuff out there :-D
    Cheers
