A couple of the bods from the Atlantic Gold Rush set. The rocks are a chunk of Fir tree bark,,,the tracks are from matchsticks as sleepers and flattened florists wire for the rails. Tent is made from....Toilet paper!! :-D
This is a set I had often in my hands to buy. Didn't do it, but still on the wish list. You made a good scene out of it, like it a lot. Now I have to buy them...
Thanks... The Gold miners set is now available from Nexus http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=271 and it´s a freat little set. loads of useable stuff. Cheers paul
Great dio overall with lot of details. You should avoid using too much artificial trees from the bag and build your own instead or combine them with fine turf for a more realistic result.
Thanks Kostas. There are no Artificial (model shop) trees / Bushes on the dio. The only Thing artificial (plant wise) is the grass (some with flowers) clumps..everything else came from the local graveyard..moss.
I love these Paul, fantastic little diorama. I have been thinking of doing something similar but on a little larger scale!
ReplyDeleteExcellent work. You can feel the atmosphere. Great use of toilet paper.
