They got a bit of a bad review at PSR on the historical aspect but they are still not a bad set..usefull for supporting J.Caeser in vanquishing vecingetorix´s Gallic Hordes. There are some good little touches like the heads of enemies hung on the horses!!!

ReplyDeleteThe Strelets style seems to have rubbed off on me, sort of like how I like the Heroics and Ros 6mm no matter how much the other companies add details--by making their 6mm measure more like 8mm--but something about them looks good anyway in a way. The Strelets looked too chunky or odd at first but the more I look the more I like them, and I can't even see that here anyway on these, so they are on my list.

I'm amazed at the variety of ancients available from Strelets PLUS I like Plastic Soldier Review's mini history lessons with each figure review even if they are critical of the set.
Excellent figures, why is it us chaps all seem to agree the head decoration looks great!!, perhaps I should add this detail to my horse, which is infact a car, I can think of plenty of people's heads I'd like to use!!!!....Fran!
