Pirate Gun Team 1/72nd

"YO HO HO! and a barrel of Rum !! "
Pirates are great!!!!   I really like the irregular look of them and the "we do what we want"  attitude and when this lot landed in my grasp I shoved a couple of other projects one step back and got stuck in....

Pirates of the caribean set 02 from Germania.Figuren. There´s loads more sets of Scurvy Dogs up and coming  from Germania and it´s well worth a look at them
Arrrthur the gun master, Arrnold the loader and Arrrnie the gunner
The 12pdr. The carriage is made of resin but the Barrel is from brass, giving the gun a nice weight.

  9. Arrrrrr! They look wonderfully; great painting Paul. I have to admit that there is something very liberating about a unit all wearing different kit; you can just let your imagination go wild.

  11. Great job, Paul! ...the Gun Master says to the Gunner, "Betcha five doubloons the Loader cain't drop de ball on his toe, and den put it it in Miss Iron-Drawer's bustle!" The Gunner says, "I'll put five more on yer mistake, Matey,... cause the Loader...he's gots feet o' plastic!"

  14. Great paint work and what wonderfully proportioned figures. Some 1/72 figures will just never age because they just look right (for instance Airfix Desert Rats - these were a work of art). The same goes for these figures - real characters but ones that 'look right'.

Sorry for lack of piratey jokes but its not time for my rum ration.....that's not till aaaaaarrrlf past 8. :-)

  15. I miss some arrrrmory on the figures. A sword, an axe, but for the rest they look excellent.

Some jolly good pirate jokes here :-D
