18th Century Women (Bodstonia)

Both rich and poor, what would be a new world without female company!?
The lower order female at the back isn´t a giant., it´s just that she´s still attached to a base and the angle of the photo makes her look very tall.

      The colour of the "business calss " woman cme out a bit too bright..more 19th century then 18th century..still she´s a bit better off than most so she can afford it.

    The civilian population is very nice. If my old eyes don't deceive me, I think you stippled a few colors on to the female's gowns in the last picture, giving the illusion of a pattern/texture. If so, your Impressionistic flare is very bright!

    I like these ladies. I painted figures like these done in ceramic (they were large, not miniatures) when I was in my teens. One of my Aunties owned her own ceramic shop and cast her own figures and she did up quite a few ladies from this period. This takes me back to better days.

    These are just gorgeous Paul and the history that you wrote up on your other page is fantastic.

      It took me nearly two hours of research and then a hour to write it up..then today..I accidently deleted it :-D Took nearly an hour to replace it again and it´s not as complete as before. Still that will teach me. Now I´ve saved it onto word.

      The Village of styrow on the foam has nearly 100 females..both rich and poor, young and old ;-D
      I´ve now got nearly as many civilian medievals as Soldiers.
