B. coppens - P. Courchelle.
The bods are from Art Miniaturen,
30 bods...doesn´t look a lot eh? |
Loading. They even usee little hammers used to drive the ball into the chamber nearly all the bods carry a hammer in thier belts. |
Firing poses. The one on the right is either firing down from a wall or a roof, or onto a fallen opponent lying on the ground. |
Hand to hand fighting poses. |
Great painting on great looking sculpts. Are those metal? Best, Dean
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean
DeleteThey are metal..not the best casts, they needed a bit of cleaning up.
Nice work Paul extra, as I can see you are very productive
ReplyDeleteI think it's the passion for painting ;)
Cheers
Vincent
Thanks Vincent.
DeleteThe passion for painting..YES!!! :-D
I´m not as productive as you...the speed and quality of your painting puts me to shame.
I have tried with something bigger than the bods...it turned out not too bad..I think :-D
Very nice, and I like the background in the first picture.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff, Paul.
ReplyDeletenice to see you are painting napoleonics
ReplyDelete..'onto a fallen opponent'.. : ))))
zzed
Thanks ...there will be lots more Napoleonics...sometime ;-D
DeleteExcellent painted figures Paul!
ReplyDeleteAbout the one firing down, don't forget these were the defenders of La Haie Sainte. That explains the pose I think.

Mike

ReplyDeleteWell done my friend!
Ohhhh the 95th Rifles!
ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent bunch of bods! Well done Paul. :)
Thanks
DeleteNot the 95th...that was Sharpes regiment..the ones all in green. ;-D
Nicely done indeed Paul. I do like the great little touch of the hammers too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jason.
DeleteI had to ask what they were..I didn´t know they actually had to hammer the ball into the chamber..I knew it was difficult to load them due to the rifling in the barrel but that they used a hammer was new to me. Funny how Painting bods can teach things :-D
Thanks for the insight! ;)
ReplyDeleteAs always, great work!
Nice work, Paul. I like the dynamic skirmishing types.
ReplyDeleteKind regards
Giles
