Ok..I haven´t found any evidence that a Huntingfield took part in a crusade but the two bods came with the Valdemar set so they have to make an appearance.
I´m not the worlds best dio creator so I´ve used these two to make up a casualty marker (for whenever I get around to making a Medieval Arabic army)
And they should pray the horse doesn't accidentally move! Well done.

ReplyDeleteVery good painting as always but I have to admit that the ones at the end are not Turkish warriors.:) because Salahuddin Ayyubi was Egyptian and ruler of Egypt, not Turkish or Ottoman...also Crusades was against Arabs and jerusalem. Ayyubians sometimes fought as a part of Ottoman army long after crusades.Please dont take it offensive, I just wanted to inform you.keep safe...

well done paul your work is very good... so casualty marker eh? you do game? if so I would love to see some game reports it not no matter... wonderful scene though perhaps not the best its far from the worst... I might get that award.

ReplyDeleteWhile it's true that the monarch commonly known in the West as Saladin was ruler of Egypt, he himself was a Kurd and he commanded a multicultural force (though Turks were probably in a tiny minority if they were present at all). So call them whatever you want!
