Steppes Warriors - Set 1

As with the first  lot (set 2), 12 bods and 12 nags in 6 poses. The nags are the same as set 2 so after a hot water bath, their heads got repositioned.

As with set 2 you get extras,  this time two spears, a sword, a quiver, two bows and a saddle bag which attaches to the nag in the same way the bow or quiver attaches, with a peg

Again, as with set 2, no flash!! None!! 10/10 and a Gold star for that.🌟

Close ups

The one on the right comes with the axe positioned directly over his head. Small snip and a bit of a twist and it looks better.
Horse archers
The added extras.

  3. Beautiful - be nice to see them all together descending on Uruk Hai.
How did you re-attach the axe after the 'small snip' surely these are soft plastic?

    1. Thanks Rob. The pose came with him holding the axe over his head at a right angle. Very unnatural but he was probably molded that way due to making casting easier. . It was attached to the top of his helmet by a very thin bit of plastic which made it easy to seperate axe handle from helmet.

    2. I misunderstood. I thought you'd cut his arm/hand off and re-attached it.
But how about a charge of the rohirrim - or even a wargame with them?

  5. No flash at all, indeed !? So they are a must-have... Very nice painting as usual, Paul.

    1. Thanks Phil. Yep, no flash at all, both sets and both the bods and the nags. Sculpting is clean, detail sharp. IMHO, among the best cavalry set(s) in our scale.
