Due to an influx of workers, there has to be somewhere for them to live and as the area available
isn´t that great, it was considered by the town planners to go upwards instead of sideways.
The small courtyard.
View along the shop fronts.
The back stairs
Just to prove that the building is hollow...a view through some upstairs Windows
What to build next???? :-D

ReplyDeleteTerrific! I had hoped an insula was on the way. I think you should distress it though, lots of unsavoury stains on the walls, and graffiti!

Terrific work Paul!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. How did you do the roof tiles? Is this congratulated cardboard?
ReplyDeleteThat's a work of art Paul, nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! I always thought it was cool that the Romans developed apartment buildings. Many had shops in the ground floor and residences above. Maybe you could make one like that next?
ReplyDeleteHola
