I know, I havent been active for..???..a long time but I keep looking at what´s going on in the world of bods..and today I found these.....Apparently they appeared in august this year.
Oh definately. Caesar did some Gondor infanty a while back but they were impossible (for my part) to get any. Mumakil for sure. I can imagine a stand with one and accompanying infantry.....
I´ll be ordering some soon. One thing that I´ve noticed since my pause..the rise in the price of bods! Still, seems to be the way of the world at the moment
Would certainly be nice to see you in action again Paul. And the windy bay waŕriors seem to be the Swan knights from dol amroth including Prince imrahil. Ps. You are not on bennos anymore? Regards Dykio
Hi Paul, nice to see you back in business! I didn't buy any of these sets yet, I have so many others to paint, but I will for sure, and when these figs reach my workbench, I will have yours as a model... as usual :)
Hi. I´m still around :-) A few things have got in the way of painting etc.. A couple of injuries in the last couple of years. All not serious injuries but one ended up with bad consequences due to the treatment not being as good as it could be. I´ll expain in a public post..as soon as I have anything to post Thanks for asking and I hope all is well with you :-)
It's great to see you commenting here just the other day and I hope that you post something soon Paul. It doesn't have to be perfect or even finished... Your blog was always full of brilliant conversions, painting and wit! All the very best, James
Thanks James. The injuries I´ve had are holding me back. A bit frustrating. There´s a couple of good looking new sets I´d love to have a go at, The Ultima Ratio "French Armies of the Hundred Years War" set for example.. https://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/FirstLook.aspx?id=3107 Some conversion potential for sure.
I'm waiting for DA to release Gondor infantry to order some of the new boxes. The same with the Haradrim; I'll wait for the Mumakil.

Delete"Windy warriors" I wonder which faction they represent in the Tolkien universe or are they possible nod to war hammer?
DeleteDol Amroth, I'd guess.
DeleteI'd say windy warriors are knights form Dol Amroth
DeleteGlad to see you posting again! I think the "Windy Bay Warriors" are supposed to be Gondorian Knights of Dol Amroth.
DeleteDol Amroth. Nice to see you back.
DeleteThe Swan Knights of Dol Armaroth, on the shores of the Bay of Belfalas
Deletethe windy warriors are meant to represent the knights of Dol Amroth, a gondorian city in the Bay of Belfalas.
DeleteI think I had answered to that. I think the Windy warriors are knights of Dol Amroth.
DeleteWelcome back Paul. Hope to see these painted up 👍👍
