A New Model Army Pt 2

So, Part two. A new trumpeter and a Advisor

Sir Bodhard decided his Trumpeter was too slow on foot so gave him a small payrise and gave him a nag.
The Top half of the bod is from the Italeri Medieval challenge set
Bottom half....???. It came out of the spares box.
The Nag from the  Valdemar Medieval Army on the March set.
Most difficult of the conversion was removing the banner from the trumpet and replacing it with a paper one.

The Bod is from RedBox Hussite artillery set.   His arm with the Hawk is taken from  Streltsi Bonus Figure that came with the Strelets Stamford bridge set.

Nag is from the Caeser  Medieval Knights (Crusaders)

The dog? It´s metal and I have absolutely no idea of where I got it.

Anyway, with his hawk and hound, it looks like the advisor, Sir Lhess (first name Clew) likes hunting.

  1. Fabulous Paul. Marvellous conversions and a fine looking dawg too. Pleased to see that painting has taken the place of breaking bits of yer self, hahaha!
    Best wishes, James

  3. Nice conversion - sir Lless very appropriate and the trumpeter too - at first I thought it would be lifted from miniarts 15th century French. Great to see you converting again

    1. After seeing the prices of new (and old sets) I decided to go through the spares boxes and revisted what I´ve painted before but this time, as far as possible, I´ll be posting nothing but conversions.

    1. Imagine two cardboard boxes, the ones used for moving house...that´s how many "bits" I have. As I was thinking of re-starting, I looked at PSR for new sets then looked at sellers of the sets. The prices are unbelievable these days :-/
