Bowled Out!!!

My entry for a duel here at the Bennos Forum..The theme was "guarding a Wall"
I won this one but more for the humour than the actual painting . My opponent´s bods (Jan´s), are much better than mine.

  1. I love this Paul; as yet we have not had any snow where we are this winter but this really has me championing its arrival. Not sure I envy the chap that got a face full of snow! Brilliant stuff.

  6. Great vignette! Brings back memories of "hold-the-fort" snowball games played as a child in Southern Bavaria, in the early '50s. Thanks for the recollections, Paul.

  11. I voted for this because it is so humerous :-D I felt( no offence to Jan) that "Guarding the Walls" was just to bland

  15. Great work Paul, I do love the look of the guy hit with the snowball. Maybe the crab hands can be turned into mittens.

    Cheers

  17. it's a real great work, Paul!!!
the background is perfect: I love the trees!
The work with plaster is also very good... and yes, it's a funny vignette, but it's not the most important!
    Congrats, Paul!

(I like the Jan's work too, just think that the great painting work is not enough served by the presentation... )
