There´s a few more fantasy sets planned and some more available, like the Orion/Dark Alliance orcs, and at some point maybe PSR will have to add a new section to the listings and move the Caeser sets out of the Features section.
Even using just one pose of each from the set they make a decent sized warband. |
The one on the far left..a female? |
My favourite poses from the set. I haven´t yet added a symbol on the standard..I can´t decide on anything appropiate yet..and I don´t want the usual red eye or white hand.... |
I haven´t added bowstrings. Their big ugly heads are in the way. |
Hello to Dead Guy from DeadGuy´s Ditch blog. He´s not been blogging for long and has just posted an excellent post called, The One Wargame Book To Rule Them All about a wargames book called Games of war.
Hello to Don Carlos Suratos from DC23 Hobbies Blog. The "just short of " 2,000,000 hits shows how popular his site is and no wonder, he´s got some pretty amazing stuff...the tutorials section is really something else!!
They remind me of classic fantasy orcs, brilliant work Paul!
ReplyDeleteI like them a lot - green skins with a non GW look and different proportions to them
ReplyDeleteGreat fun and beautifully done Paul. Glad to see that it is not just me that gets distracted by the weird and wonderful. ;)
ReplyDeleteI think after seeing this post, lots of Fantasy gamers will be Goblin them up!
ReplyDeleteOrcs are great expendable ememies as it's OK to kill lots of them w/o regret. I do think Tolkien was a bit racist and class discriminatory making them black and having them talk like lower class Brits.
ReplyDeleteThey look nice!
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Paul. The Orc with the brown hoody and cloak is surely the leader...he has lots of pzazz!
ReplyDeleteLooks great Tolkien would be proud!
ReplyDeletePaul is it possible to get your email adress as I would like to make some sort of blog tour event?
please contact me at wargamenewsandterrain AT hotmail DOT com if you're interested.
Sorry it's DOT be
ReplyDeleteWhere is Shrek in this scene?
ReplyDeleteSomething different, but verry nice.
Hope to see those next week at FIGZ
I can smell orc mischief. Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI do like these!
ReplyDeleteUgly ugly ugly, you have painted them well. oh and about the bowstrings, orcs are too stupid to use bows they just get a curved piece of wood and wonder why it does not send arrows flying like the humans, or elves' ones
ReplyDeleteThese reminds me on my own orcs I've painted last year:

I think the skin tone of yours is a little bit lighter. You did a great job on them Paul.
Maybe we can compare them at FIGZ? ;-)
Greetings
Peter

Fun orcs! I don't think that one is a female, he just cares more about his appearance than the rest
ReplyDeleteNo titties, no woman! :-)
ReplyDeleteNice work there Paul!
You took the words right out of my mouth Thanos!
Deletefunny stuff, looking great!
ReplyDeleteWow, I think it's the first time I see another race than humans here....Unusual ones.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThere´s also been..trolls, goblins and a Gremlin :-D
Cheers
paul
Do not mock the fury of the Orc. They are the biggest threat we face in the coming years. It is written. Only Metal can save us.
ReplyDeleteI like these guys a lot. Their faces are very expressive. The one on the right on the last set of photos looks a little dumbfounded!
ReplyDeleteFodder for the war table!
