Medieval Houses

The town of Styrow-on-the Foam (or Bodston) grows. A set of 1/72nd scale resin medieval houses created by Thorsten Burgdorf and available HERE ......... They are "multi-purpose" houses, that is you can create a lot of different variations from the same kit, swopping the roofs, gable ends etc.
Very kindly...Thorsten sent them built and painted :-D All they need is basing.
Timber framed versions with straw roofs
Wooden block houses with shingle roofs.

  2. awesome!!! do the roofs come off? if so that would be really cool. I would normally say nice work but of coarse I think we must all thank Thorsten for being so generous as to paint them for you... nice to see people doing something nice.

    1. they could be made removable..same with the doors etc. I like the roof stuck down..I tend to loose them if they aren´t fixed in place

  8. Very nice buildings ! I'm looking for houses for Spanish civil war (not too expensive) and it's difficult...

  9. I visited the site and looked at some of the dios. Some really good work there, excellent eye candy. They've got a windmill that is just smashing and a tower that I like as well.

    1. I want all their buildings ...they are lovely pieces and being resin, even I can´t accidentally break one
