This Scene from the 1960 film, Spartacus. This scene captures the powerfull and menacing look of a Roman Legion.
WOW !!! another great painting work!
ReplyDeleteyou've made a perfect job on those figures and given to them a very dramatical appearance !
I like!
Great paint as always , nice figures
ReplyDeleteGreetings
It wouldn't be hard to convert them to a religious scene.
ReplyDeleteNice figures Paul - that movie scene is brilliant! I dont think it has been surpassed.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ken.
DeleteAmazing to think the film is 53 years old, and as you say, that Scene has, IMHO, never been surpassed. The Music fits, the Long shots of the armies, the lingering shots of peoples faces (would they do anything like that today?) and the co-ordination of all those extras.
Lovely work again
ReplyDeleteIan
Appropriately grim and horrific. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI'm Spartacus! Very nice. Simon
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Paul. Who manufactures the miniatures?
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThe makers are Linear-b, they co-operate with strelets to create the sets.
Well done and nice Life of Brian references.
ReplyDeleteDammit...I was lining up for that...great work Paul on an interesting set!
Deleteas was I.
DeleteSean "ooh you lucky bastard" there I got one it :-P
great work Paul, this is a very cool set.
A great looking set and the flesh tones are superb.
ReplyDeleteWonderful and brutal, all at once.
ReplyDeleteAnother nicely painted series of characters, Mr. Bods.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully grisly set Paul.
ReplyDeleteVery nice work, inspired as always!
