The helmet. I added a Gold "glitter" effect to the "eyes" but it doesn´t Show up in pics!!! |
At least the eyes are a bit easier to paint in 28mm. Reaper Miniatures;60072: Chivane, Red Mantis Assassin |
Hi Paul - I voted for this babe, at least partly from natural bias (being a redhead) but also because I loved the figure :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tasmin... There´s nowt better than redheads :-D
DeleteI really love your Redhead, Paul ! The work on the eyes is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteGood choice of figure, too .
I've voted for her...
Thans :-D I had to paint a redhead..I have two here at home :-D
DeleteI like all these different backgrounds Paul. I'm glad you had fun with her and I like the way she turned out. Now that we've got you painting one Fantasy figure, perhaps there will be more.....
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne. She was fun. I will definately Keep my eye open for some more.
ReplyDeleteI have been known to paint 28mm Fantasy..off and on ;-D

excellent!!!
ReplyDeleteMerci Michele :-D
DeleteShe is lovely, Paul! And your changeup of backgrounds shows how the mood of the figure can change with a different color background. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Monty. The Problem with the different Backgrounds is that i couldn´t make my mind up which to use. The darker ones Show up the hair better but hide the armour etc. i like her anyway´s...definately made a Change from the 1/72nd bods.
DeleteGood stuff; you can really make these miniatures come to life.
ReplyDeleteThanks mike. I´ve actually got an idea to make them "move"......but it´s top secret :-D
DeleteA beautiful figure; but, maybe too good of a swordswoman for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jay. The sword and her left Hand needed attaching and to be honest i liked her better before it was added...she Looks too cluttered now.
DeleteHey Paul, did you send me that check? :-D
ReplyDeleteNice little Redhead Paul! And fantastic work on the eyes!
Greetings
Peter
It´s in the Post :-D
DeleteYour work here is bloody brill, not sure which I will vote for yet but your's is a tough babe to beat
ReplyDeleteIan
Red Ian..think Red! :-D
DeleteThanks Andrew.....I love redheads as well...I have two of them at home. 1:1 scale :-D
ReplyDeleteYou've done fecking lovely work Paul, top notch!
ReplyDeleteThanks Fran :-D
Delete3 great looking figures!! Now to choose a winner???? Hmmm?
ReplyDeleteRED!!!!!
DeleteI love the Redhead figurine, Paul. It is so difficult to paint the eyes in a 28mm figurine as you did
ReplyDeleteThanks . it was difficult to take a decent pic of the eyes..I only got (after taking over 50 pics) a decent pic of the left one
DeleteI like her face, stands up real well on that close up setting too!
ReplyDeleteThe face took at least two hours..the bloody eyes alone took near an hour to get right..I had to remove the paint at one Point.
DeleteExcellent! Details are amazing...
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil :-D
