US Infantry in Attack 2 - Strelets

The one Thing about painting Union troops...easy but a wee bit tiresome. Easy as it´s  not a lot of effort  due to the same colours for each bod but tiresome for the same reason.

Oddly, they are all in step. Would they be in step when attacking ?
Flag is the 11th Regiment Maine Volunteer Infantry
I like the officer´s pose, just about to draw his sword.
So, that´s all the Union troops painted, for now.
2 Brigades worth?
As for size, the Strelets and Airfix bods fit well alongside each other.

    1. Thanks Phil. Hopefully Strelets will release thier Witworth and Parrot gun sets soon...and they have a US inf in defence set in the pipeline...so hopefully they will be Standing with bayonets levelled and then there has to be a Confederate in in defence set as well.
I might also get a couple of sets of their US cav skirmishing and make one lot into Confederates.

  7. Looking very nice... But seriously, you are a BAD influence; you are already responsible for helping to inspire me back into figure painting with my Mediaevals & Romans. I do NOT need to expand my old ACW bod collection too...... (Or do I..?) :)

    1. Yes, you most definately need to expand your ACW armies. ACW was intended just as a side line for me but the appearance of The Strelets ACW range proved irresistable.
The upcoming HäT lot don´t look bad either. Classic marching poses, the painted versions turned up on the HäT Forum a while back.
