As I seldom comment, I though I would do so now to let you that I do very much enjoy your blog, and the recent posts featuring figures from Tumbling Dice had me checking out their ranges. How compatible are these with the Revell Normans?
Thanks :-)I´m also not a great commentator.. Commenting on every blog is very time consuming. I found this out when I first started..one sees and learns a lot but time to actually put the learned stuff into practice went with commenting..add to that, real life (work/family etc) and either one has to live two lives at once or cut down on some things.
TBH, I havent compared them to the revell Normans but I´ll do the next post along with Revell, Strelets and Zvezda (did I forget one?)
Great painting, Paul. You are a Pioneer in recording and publishing images of so many TD sets, thanks in the Name of the 1/72 community :)
I also have several of this sets. They match good in general with standard plástico sets, maybe some chunky as pointed by EY, but that is not always bad for medieval warriors in armor...
Thanks :-) I´m going to occasionally add comparisons with other makes. They match really well with Strelets, not so well with Revell..but the Revell bods weren´t ever that good.
Those are great models!

Lovely job Paul, the shields look great.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking paint jobs. Many TD figures match up well with 1/72 plastics, but some lines can be a bit on the chunky side.

DeleteNormans and crossbows go hand in hand, a great addition to your collection.
