I got these when they came out little knowing that Hät had changed to the new soft plastic. This meant that every part of each chariot was bent to some degree and it took a bit of work to get everthing looking correct. I added reins and rein guides to the yolks.
Very nice piece with plenty of fine detailing; reins, shield pattern, horse furniture and tattoos. Quite impressively done. Regards, Dean
ReplyDeleteGood job with the painting and reins!
ReplyDeleteGood work. How do they come together? I've only tried the HaT Sumerian chariots once and they were a nightmare to put together...
ReplyDeleteNice, yeah that plastic can spoil a good set sometimes eh?
ReplyDeleteNice work and I like the background touch.

thanks
ReplyDeleteThe chariots do go together well..after they have had a hot water bath to straighten all the bits.
Built without the reins etc it makes the "drivers" look like they are disco dancing or practising kungfu.:-D

The reins work so well I hardly noticed them! The colours and patterns of the clothes and tattoos do it for me especially.
ReplyDeleteGreat work, plastic can be a bugger sometimes eh!
ReplyDeleteThose are very nice; much better than most of the 28mm chariot models I've seen. Reins are great, too!
