I´ve looked but I can´t find any evidence of them using..or not using washing lines but I suppose it would be the most obvious method to dry washing.

Thats a really nice diorama. Rather calming after a busy day! - Thanks! At least in Tudor times, people did wash clothes. Not keen on washing themselves, they replaced their clothes fairly regularily and washed them!

ReplyDeleteRegarding washing lines, use thereof, I believe that usually washing was draped on bushes to dry. :)
