Airfix Foriegn Legion

How many times has this set defended fort Sahara in the last 40 years and more since the type one set was released in 1962 ?? MARCH OR DIE!!!!!!!

  3. Great stuff. I remember using these figures for ACW as well as fighting off the Arab hordes. Never painted them so they could be used for any "Blue" army.

  5. Given that was the one of the first set Airfix released they have really sttod the test of time well. Plus a good paint job helps!!

  14. The was the release of this figure set. I have some of the first set which I turned into Napoleonic French Conscripts.

    Great painting, setting and photography. I love seeing the Airfix figures. Thanks.

    Every time I look at these Airfix figures my belly does somersaults and my head is back in the 1970s! mine were never painted back then yours look great with that paint job keep them coming I think there fantastic!
