Friar tuck..or magicians apprentice, the Airfix "holyman" |
Valdemars "you must confess" |
From a Zvezda "big set"...His Holyness Bunnyfartus. What an ugly §!*°!! |
Some of the priests from the Pegasus California Mission Indians set. |
A pious looking bunch if ever there was one. The one to the far left had a bell on the top of his (now) walking stick, but it snapped off :-( |
The pegasus set has some great detail like the rosary beads with crucifix.. |
And now for todays sermon...or is it a recipe for fish??? |
"Oh when the Saints go marchin' in!..."
ReplyDeleteThe Pegasus are very good! I'd just bought the set this week for the Indians, but the rest it's very interesting! Congrats!
Apart from the magician it reminds me of my schooling, great work on those excellent minis.
ReplyDeleteI would like to have the recipe of the fish. And isn't on the next page one of bread? :-D
ReplyDeleteNice painted so called "holy" men!
Greetings

Warding OFF...my spelling..really!!!!
ReplyDeleteStarted with pawns (the villagers)- moved on to Knights, now Bishops - good work - Mate!
ReplyDeleteGreat fun Paul; those monks are amazing well done.
ReplyDeleteHaaaaaaaaaa!
ReplyDeleteNice collection of clerics of various sorts!
ReplyDeleteDoes the Bishop move diagonally in wargames as well?
ReplyDeleteFriar Tucks pretty cool
ReplyDeleteReally nice set of figures Paul. Nicely painted too.
ReplyDeleteAnother good looking group. Do you have any immediate plans for them?
ReplyDeleteDitto all the above. The Friar Tuck figure is so useful. I have used as a Zulu chief (in bathrobe stolen from Prince Albert)and also as a Fisheaded Deep one priest for a Call of Cthulhu scenario. Great painting too
