As Female bods are in short supply in 1/72nd in any era, a specialist set like this is very welcome and I reckon that they could be used in a very large range of eras...right up to the 20th century.
A rarity , a baby on the mothers breast. |
Stage three of the Pirate Cutter. The planking.
Made from strips of thin card it took an absolute age with pinning etc to get all the planking fitted.
They are such a good set and so usable for so much, nice work again Paul....
ReplyDeleteI think you are absolutely right Paul, I can't think of any other figure similar to the mother feeding her baby and kudos to Erik for sculpting it. It is, after all, a perfectly natural pose.
ReplyDeleteAnd painting is excellent once again. I struggled to see the errors you say you made so I wouldn't worry about them
Excellent figures Paul, that Erik is a very talented chap!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat set Paul paint job is cracking!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I really like the pose of the one on the right, great stuff.
ReplyDeleteSplendid job Paul, even when you say you made some mistake. But these can be solved, don't they?

Lovely set Paul, and I have to say I wouldn't have noticed the 'mistakes', if you can call them that, if you hadn't pointed them out. Pirate ship is really taking snap now!
ReplyDeletethat of course should have said 'shape'!
DeleteAll great. And I can barely see what you mean on the woman and baby and the woman with the bag I can't tell at all. In regards to you ship model, if you want to put up the plan that would be great. If you want a discussion, have you put it up on benno's? Either way I'm glad you're sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteVive les femmes!-more please!
ReplyDeletevery nice!
ReplyDeleteand that boat is starting to shape up and take form nicely!
Nicely done, Paul.
ReplyDeleteThe women are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteMistakes?? where are they???
I don't see any mistake: you're wrong Paul!
The pirate boat: great!
Great stuff, Paul!
ReplyDeleteImpressive work Paul. Good to see some chick action on the blog!
ReplyDeletegreat painting. I cannot call your mistakes problems the overall figs are so good that it matters to little to be worth me commenting on it...Excellent job
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! Added points for a post header that could double as a title for a Black Sabbath song ;-)
ReplyDeleteAn excellent set. Well painted Paul.
ReplyDeleteExcellent paint and finish Paul ..
