Elves as Adventurers

Elves? I´m not too keen on them myself...bit to "high and mighty" for my liking, so these got thier ears trimmed and have joined the human adventurers.

Ok...she lost her long pointy ears but the eyebrows are still a problem
An attempt at getting a nice glittery dress effect..

Although, for these I use plumers wool..the stuff they use to put on the thread to make the joint tight.

  4. What did you use to get the glittery effect on the dress. I like those assassins a lot. Is there a link to where you got them?

    1. Hi Anne.
Firstly, again, I hope all goes well tomorrow.
      To get the glittery effect i firstly painted the dress with purple mixed with black, 50-50. Then purple mixed with gold, about 1/4 pruple and 1/4 gold..then a very fine brush with gold, but very very fine. It works with silver and any colour you choose as well. I did it with blue and silver for my "Fairy horse" ;

The assassins are only just created and are now at the molding stage..how long it will take until they appear I can´t say, but I hope it´s soon. When they do it, the link to the shop is on the right, Valdemar/ Fredericus.rex.
      Cheers

    2. Thank you Paul. I'm going to be doing some serious shopping in about two weeks and am looking for some elegant, well-sculpted pieces and it doesn't matter what period they are from or if they're fantasy. These assassins would fit the bill nicely.

  7. 1/4 purple + 1/4 gold = 2/4 missing!! :-D

Great job... although, I'm a little surprised with that poorly dressed Klingon female! :-D

    Specially liked Alan! Cheers!

    1. Damm!!!! Missed that...:-D I hope Anne doesn´t try it and wonder what the other 1/2 is meant to be...
      3/4 purple and 1/4 gold ;-D
She does look like a klingon..even with the ears she doesn´t look anything like an elf. Maybe a head swop is in order.

  9. Really nice everything, Paul. The assassins look to be a formidable force.

  10. Elves having their ears trimmed? Oh the shame of it. Mind you if you hadn't said I wouldn't have known they were meant to be Elves.

The Assassins are looking very interesting

  11. It's Paul, Mr. 'conversion-guy'!
I really like the effect on the second's figure dress. Shiny but not too much! :-)

  12. THey look very nice Paul. I think I try a dress with GW Tin Blitz. I'm curious how it will come out.

The elves are the last ones of the fantasy range that I'm missing. I hope to get them at FIGZ! ;-)

    Greetings
