The two spearmen in the set, The spears they come with (attached) bear an uncanny resemblence to telegraph poles (the "as they come" pics at PSR) and they´ve been replaced with florists wire |

"telegraph poles"! Yep, they are a bit off scale... :D
ReplyDeleteGood work! They look good and per se, but I've to find if they fit in in Peninsular conflicts.
They are a fierce looking lot!
ReplyDeleteReally nice! I do like the Halbardiers!
ReplyDeletePhil.
Ooh, shiny!
ReplyDeleteI am not too happy with some of the Red Box kits as their quality seems unpredictable. Your figures look great. For my spears I use plastic broom bristles, I have to give the wire a try.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'll add these to my wish list
ReplyDeleteLovely figures, painting and backdrop.
ReplyDeleteThey look great Paul! And again some very nice conversions!

ReplyDeleteThey look great Paul! Nice paint
ReplyDeleteCheers
Great painting work with a quite good medieval set.
ReplyDeleteperhaps I repeat myself, but it's amazing to see how these figures, sometimes not exceptional, in your hands turn and come to life!
ReplyDeleteLookin' very good. Nice conversions! I'm sure that I wouldn't have volunteered for spearblock duty!
ReplyDeleteNow these are a bit good, nicely done Paul.
ReplyDeleteLooking good there Paul. Nice work! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks all.
ReplyDeleteSorry for not getting out and about lately...a management seminar is taking up a lot of time at the moment :-(
