Wargs (Light) Dark Alliance

The light wargs set from Dark Alliance.
The wargs are the same size and poses as the heavy wargs set, but the riders are less well armoured.
All 12 poses. Again, as with the heavy wargs, I´ve used the "hot water" method and altered some of the wargs poses.

  6. These guys are so cool. THe dark greys of the riders look good against the deep brown of the Wargs. My Kitty Fang thinks she's fierce, but these boys would scare the bejeesus out of her.

    1. Thanks Peter. You weren´t at Münden!!?
When they are based (and some more orcs are added) the army of the underworld will Parade in full.

could you please describe the "hot water method" more detailed? Thanks in advance...

    1. The hot water method i described in the last post with the Heavy Wargs. Basically, boil some water, drop the bod or nag in, wait about 1 Minute (depends on the plastic, soft plastic takes about 30 seconds to soften up, best to try it out with a bit of sprue first) then using tweezers, take the fig out, then whilst Holding it with a towel (they get a hot as the water, so be carefull ) bend the part to the direction required, hold in Position until the plastic goes cold. All the hot water does is alter the Plastics "Memory" but doesn´t remove it. If, for instance you bend the neck on a horse this way, after it´s cooled into the new Position you drop it back into boiled water the "Memory" will tell the neck to go back to it´s original position (not always 100%, but near enough)

  9. Excellent ! I'm interested with the "HWTecnic" !!
They look better than the light "wargery"!
The painting work is always good, BTW !

  10. There was NO "Save The Wargs!" movement when they went extinct. Good figures Paul.
