Goblin War Maschine II

My last addition to Orctober 2026.. Again, made using coffee stirrers, toothpicks, card and wood glue.  Pin heads as bolts.  The "DeyZee Cutter" at the front are made from pins with added card wings which, when the glue had hardened,  were cut to shape.

A more reliable "drive system" has been installed on this maschine. He´s from the Dark & Light Alliance War Trolls (Set 2). I originally only used one from the set because the other three were miscast...the mold had slipped and the other three had big lumps of flash one thier hands, legs and sides...but I spent over an hour tidying this one up and he´s turned out ok. My copy of the one with the chains is nearly buried in flash..but I might try to revive him as I have an idea for a future war machine and his pose would be usefull.

The top fighting area is removable. The "DeyZee cutter" is run through a system of gears attached to one of the axles (the below deck gears arent visible)  Typical of Goblin design....no safety guard over the gears!!!

"Ambush hatches" for those who get past the "DeyZee cutter".

The Goblins are from Dark Alliance goblins or orc sets., apart from three.  Two, the archer behind one of the "Ambush hatches" and the one throwing a bomb are from Caesers Goblin set and the one with the torch and head on a pole is from the Linear-B Spartacus Uprising set with a goblin headswop. Interestingly, the near same pose from the The Scottish Army of Wallace, which I used HERE as an Orc conversion,  is included in the Spartacus set....except one gets 4 of them. I forgot about those. In fact, a lot of the poses could be, after head swops, be used as Orc/Goblin infantry.   The Giant Crossbow is from Dark & Light Alliance Corsairs (Set 2).

Anyway..that´s enough of Orcs etc for a while...back to the NMA.
