Airfix WW II German Paras

I tried to copy the cammoflage as shown on the box art...the Helmets and the trousers..??? they look VERY blue in the photo...in real life´they are not so blue.  honest :-)

  1. Nice cammo mate.I dont think they used the blue in the filed but I would paint them that way(blue) myself just because thats how I would want them to look.How many more Airfix sets to go?

    The "blue" is Formula P3Cygnar Blue highlight, mixed with a bit of middle brown, then highlighted with a bit of white. I promise they look much darker for real.

  6. The blue should be field gray, other than that, nice work, the camo looks good, and thank you for not trying to add the splinters to the pattern :)

  15. Thanks. This is only the second time I´ve had a bash at cammo...I just more or less splatted it on..no pattern but it seemed to luckily end up in the right places........more or less :-)
