The grand Was-ere

A couple of "quikies" as most of my time is taken up with WWI stringbags...
............the rigging bug has bitten me again :-D
All simple head swop conversions. heads from the Esci Muslim Warriors,
A travelling wiseman and a drummer. Wiseman´s body from Atlantic´s Greek life set, the drummer´s body from Airfix´s Tarzan Figures set.

The Grand Was-ere, Uttar Hummbug,  exhalting his followers into battle. His body was kindly donated from the HaT Gallic command set.

  1. Nice work Paul. I'm preparing a mixed army of IMEX and Zvezda Vikings and getting ready to take the plunge on a few head swaps and hot water arm bending. Wish me luck.

  2. Speaking as a drummer, I must say I like the drummer best of all. I swore I'd never get into doing conversions but while I was shopping around I found some interesting things. One day I'll probably surprise myself and go for it. As always great conversions and great paint job Paul.

  4. In the land of Frankensteinian Cranial Adjustments, Paul, you have a keen eye and a sharp scalpel. Great surgery, Sir!

  5. Is it a bad sign that I immediately recognized both the wiseman and the drummer?

  6. Great conversions! But is it a wise man when he swops his head?

  10. Absolutely awesome!!! Now you need a legion of Khandibarian Ghazi fanatics for them to lead into battle! I must admit, some of my favorite figures from my Afghan/NWF army are the "Mad Mullahs" on foot and horse, and their fierce retainers, bearing swords, rifles, bugles, and drums.
