Medieval Bombard (working scale model Mk 2)

Another one. This would be a Monster for 1/72nd scaled bods and is more suited for 28mm.
A second before blast off!
As before the Barrel is made from brass tubing covered in paper and Card. The "carriage" is made from an old CD case, the strips glued together to give more thickness and then filed and rubbed with sandpaper to allow the paint to stick.
The Lifting rings are made from thick copper wire.
In Action. In the first Video the bombard has been pegged down as the recoil is pretty massive, which can be seen in the second Video. The force of the recoil throws the bombard off Screen and the "Hand of Bod " can be seen replacing it.

WotR´s Levy Halbardiers (Billmen)

Another group of WotR´s period Perry bods, this time the same as the archers, and the Pikes,  no defined household livery colour scheme, I´m still practising.

Next lot, crossbows and Arquebusiers,  I´ll make up as Burgundians.

WotR´s Levy Pikes

Another batch of the Perry WotR´s bods, this time Pikes. As with the Archers they don´t have any specific Livery..but this time they are all wearing the same colour combination. Wether it actually fits to any historical Livery colours I don´t know, I just went for a colour combination I liked.

WotR´s Levy Archers

No specific Livery patterns to start with, I´ve got to get my eye in with this scale, so first off a group of levy archers. Later I plan to make up some household types in the livery of John de Vere 13th earl of oxford.  and then I´ll see what else takes my fancy.
They´re not based yet as I want to get some decent bases for them and not my usual homemade ones

Perry 28mm Medievals

Wonderfull bods these...I really like the look of  them...the fun bit being the multi-parts allowing seemingly endless combinatios of heads, arms and weapons. I haven´t decided yet how I´m going to base them yet.
They are all suitably dressed and equiped for the WotR period...but I won´t paint them up in any of the liveries used at the time for a couple of rasons. I like the look of "generic" medieval armies...the possible mix of colours and styles...this will also allow me to add bods from other manufacturers and I got away from painting ancients becuase of the "uniformity"...particually the romans...although I love the look of a full legion..
