Richard, after coming home finds that some Lords, including
Sir Hugh Jarse, have been causing a lot of trouble. raising taxes and generally abusing the population. Richard sets up camp near the coast, calls his war council together and makes his plans!

Like in any film, lots of tapping of fingers on the map...winds me up something rotten seeing that in films!!!!! |

Look out Sir Hugh Jarse, the King is back! Long live the King! Lovely little set, Paul.
ReplyDeleteAn excellent set of figures!!
ReplyDeletePointing is better than the cliche knife in the map or crayon on the map. (or sea chart) Good maps are hard to get!
ReplyDeleteGreat work, nicely done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Bods, Paul.
ReplyDeleteNice! The first picture looks like a painting, not a photo of painted minis- very cool!
ReplyDeleteThat Sir Hugh is always causing trouble.
ReplyDeleteAnother good one. Is the feller in the blue tabard wearing shades? (LOL)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice scene! I want one for myself! :-D
ReplyDeleteGreat looking council of war, beautiful work Paul!
ReplyDeleteSir Hugh Jarse? Isn't he the cousin of Sir Mike Rotch? ;)
ReplyDeleteNice figures as always Paul :)
Lovely wee diorama!!
ReplyDeleteSuperb figures, painting and scene.
ReplyDeletethe war is on!!!! good work as always
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the fingers on the maps mate. Never trust a FOO who uses fingers on a map eh!
ReplyDeleteAwesome looking scene. Well done.
wow!!!
ReplyDeletevery good painting work (it's not a scoop!) and the figures are .... so.... perfect!
Fantastic! Love the figs and they are wonderfully posed and painted
ReplyDeleteNice vignette. Very well done. Tapping fingers on map was something they taught us on OTC - always looks impressive when giving orders, especially if the orders are bollocks.
ReplyDeleteHugh Jarse - if he's like his TFL namesake, he's a dodgy character.
Cheers,
Mike
Very nice looking vignette !
ReplyDeleteBest regards dalauppror
Hugh Jarse? Must be a early relative of the most famous WWII heroe Hugh Arse for sure... a loooong family tradition of warriorfare as I see it
ReplyDeleteRes bien mon ami! - Vive la Roi!
ReplyDelete(They were all French then!)
