Teutonic Master II (Italeri)

You can never have enough Boss bods. This one is an Italeri Tuetonic knight who has had a mild operation, a head swop with the kneeing crossbowman fron the crusader set. The old head I used as his helmet (hanging from the saddle pommel) The nag is also from the crusader set with all those tiny tiny  fluers de lys removed. Cloak as usual from toiletpaper. :-)
And heres a fun thing to do on these winter nights....(no pun intended)...The Pyrrhus Project at History in 1/72nd..

  2. Very nice!! What do you use for a background for all your photos? Actually it would be cool if you did a post showing your picture taking set up.

  3. Thanks :-)
@Dan...I could do that but to be honest there are two reasons why it might be a bad idea.
    1. My picture taking is more luck than anything..I have a certain little set up, I know where I have good light, which angle to take the pics..a sort of rough and ready studio on my work area. I keep trying to get to build a purpose built little "studio" but I´m too lazy for that.
    2. Everyone would see my work area!!! If you imagine something chaotic in the most chaotic area of chaos land...then you are halfway to imagining the chaos that my work area is.Everyone who sees it for the first time says "!!CHAOS!!, how do you work here??!"
    Cheers

  4. I'm like a stuck record, but I really dig this pose too. And he's recovered from that operation very well so that's more evidence it's no mean modelling skill you've got.

@ JFaria I am having a few problems with my computer lately...it´s too old..and with some sites/blogs etc it crahes when I look. I have looked at your Blog from a work computer but I cannot use it to follow you or make comments. I am not ignoring you (this goes for a couple of other blogs) and soon I will get a new PC so all will be well. I know for instance, that whan I post this message my web connection will crash and I will have to reboot it :-(
    Cheers
    Paul

  9. Excellent modifications. The toilet paper cloaks work quite well, and I love the idea that he is traveling with his helmet stowed to the side.
