A couple more Standing bods.
The one tending the nag has had his left arm swopped with one of the riflemen´s arms which has been repositioned so it looks like he´s giving the nag a sugar lump (maybe) and the reins have been cut away from his right hand.
I decided to base the bod "making ready" singularily as it makes him more adaptable and fit alongside the other free standing one who´se aiming/firing.
Only a couple of conversions and the command Group to go.
Wonderful work on those horses.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking model!
ReplyDeleteYour work on the brown shades is, once again, terrific, love this horse!
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil. As Close to a red bay as I can get. Generally I don´t like painting nags but for some reason this set is easier and more fun to paint than others.I´ve planned that The officer will have a White nag...I really don´t like painting White nags!! When I paint them they never ever seem to look as I think they should :-(
DeleteI would never have guessed that you converted those Paul, such is the quality of the final pose. Bravo Sir.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael. Looking at it now I could have made the right Hand flat (Squash it with some fine toothed tweezers to give the Impression of fingers and turned it slightly) so it Looks like he´s patting/stroking the neck of the nag.
DeleteForgot; I´ve converted two more..a lot more work than adding an arm and a bit of snipping but they appear to have turned out ok
DeleteLovely as always! Keep up the good work!
