The previous Bods for the
Dwarf battle line have been re-based and another 8 added to boost up the numbers.
Shields added and a couple have had head conversions

Good mornin'! How are we all? I have a wee proposition, if ye wouldn't mind giving me a few moments of yer time. Would you consider...JUST SODDING OFF?!
|
|
Ya hear that, lads? We're on! Let's give these bastards a good hammering! |
The set only has 10 poses and to get the shield wall with 22 individuals in it some conversions had to be made.

Helmet added to the one on the Left |

Shields added. From the Emhar set for the one on the left, from the Zvezda Vikings for the one on the right

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely brilliant!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking sheildwall, i see you have also mastered some commen dwarfish phrases!. Really cool stuff.
ReplyDeleteThanks . I wish I could master taking decent non blurry pics :-)
DeleteVery nice Paul! Nice flag too ;o)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ray..and I can´t for the life of me remember where the flag came from???? ;-)
DeleteNice painting and conversions! Since you mentioned getting them, the Alliance dwarves are great, but note that they're taller than the Caesar ones, in some cases by quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteThanks and thanks for the info about the Aliiance dwarves..I was assuming they would be smaller than the Caeser ones.
DeleteNice work. How many conversions did you made at all?
ReplyDeleteThanks. In total, 12...13 if a slight Alteration to the flag bearer (removing and adding the new flag) is counted. Most are quite simple, weapon swops, (axes for spears etc) or adding the shields..which had a small hole made on the middle then they were simply pinned on, the head of the pin becomes the shield Boss. The 4th pic from top Shows the shield adding best..orig bod in the middle. The one on the left had his arm bent against his Body and the pin stuck through his fist and into his body, the one on the right, it was just pinned onto his fist.
DeleteNice.
