Goblin War Maschine

Another addition to Orctober 26.  Made using coffee stirrers, toothpicks, card and wood glue. The Studs/Bolts are pin heads.  

The Fighting deck is removable to show the drive system. It´s propelled along by 12 Human Pushers, a 12HP drive system. The HP´s come from a wide range of sets..Strelets, Pegasus, Italeri and Caeser. The Goblins from Dark Alliance.

A rare Dog faced Goblin keeping the 12 HP´s motivated.

Was fun and turned out better than I thought. I might build another...but with a different and more reliable drive system. 

New Model Army Pt 18 - Hobilars

Various Nags and Bods (some with headswops) from the range of medieval sets, original shields removed, new ones added,  lances added etc. The one in the middle of the top three is a metal Bod from an unknown range. The signaller (left bottom pic ) is from the MiniArt Burgundian Knights and Archers set. He did turn up in the first post for the NMA but has been promoted......well, he´s been given a nag...which is a sort of promotion.

I havent got around to the "setting scenery on fire" yet..A,  no time and B, the weather isn´t good for outside set ups. 

New Model Army Pt 17 - Mounted Sergeants

 Just two,  one for Sir Bodfrey and one for Sir Bodard

And a bit more for the Camp...hay time. The nag is from the Imex Eastern Friendly Indians, the Bod is from the LW Medieval Mortar set...and had a fork added from the Zvezda medieval peasants set. Straw is the stuff plumbers use..Hemp? 

Oh yeh...I forgot. I´m planning on setting some Bod scale scenery on fire....again :-) 

Orctober 2026

Finally I have something for Orctober. The last time I took part was in 2019!!!! 

The Orc on the left is from the Dark Alliance Orcs set 3. The woman leaning over the bod  ( ) is from the Orion Vikings set, the dead bod is from the Emhar Saxon warriors.

The Orc and the poor Guard are from the Strelets  The Scottish Army of Wallace set, both got headswops. The Orc got given a new knife from the venerable Gladiators and Christians from Atlantic

 

The bad Orcs!!!! Even the livestock gets a hard time. Nag from Airfix´s US cavalry set..saddle etc removed, a couple of arrows from various Medieval archers
