Just two, one for Sir Bodfrey and one for Sir Bodard
And a bit more for the Camp...hay time. The nag is from the Imex Eastern Friendly Indians, the Bod is from the LW Medieval Mortar set...and had a fork added from the Zvezda medieval peasants set. Straw is the stuff plumbers use..Hemp?
Nice work and that straw is very effective.
ReplyDeleteNice work, Paul! Which seta are the sergeants from?
ReplyDeleteEven though they often received bad reviews at PSR, I wish some more of the old LW sets were remade by Mars or some other manufacturer...
Thanks :-) The Sergeant on the left is from the Strelets English cavalry of Edward I. (third row second from left) I replaced his shield and he got a head swop. His nag is from the same set. The sergeant on the right is from the Italeri Teutonic Knights set (second row far left) His nag is from the Italeri Templar Knights. Both lances are from the Zvezda French knights set...I bought about 6 sets of them and never used all the lances.
DeleteYour painting and conversion skills are amazing. I have always found looking through your blog very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteSplendid sergeants and suitably plain camper…. Think you need a license for hemp - well the seeds, but yes as they make hemp rope from the fibrous stems it makes sense although I don’t recall my plumbers using anything except plastic tape these days? clearly i am not a plumber. I now have an image of you collecting the hemp seeds from the plumbers bag and having a very interesting bod scenery fire. :)
